Arcade Fire reemerges in 2025 with Pink Elephant, their seventh studio album and a statement piece cloaked in mystique, sonic ambition, and personal reckoning. Set to drop on May 9 via Columbia Records, the 10-track project is described as “cinematic mystical punk,” ushering in a reinvention for a band that has remained silent since 2022.

The rollout has been anything but conventional. Fans were introduced to the new era through Circle of Trust, a members-only app that debuted music, videos, behind-the-scenes content, and even a custom radio show hosted by the band. Circle of Trust also served as the exclusive premiere platform for “Cars and Telephones,” an unreleased deep cut that holds personal significance—it was reportedly the first song Win Butler ever shared with Régine Chassagne.
